Every colour in the garden arrived at once and nobody told them to take turns. Hot pink, turquoise, coral, lemon yellow, and deep green smashed together in thick impasto brushstrokes on a pale pink ground. The whole canvas is a controlled detonation, paint piled so thick you can almost smell it. Something beautiful got completely destroyed and what's left is better than what was there before.
